Has anyone noticed that people are going to ruin your car if it’s nice?

Obviously, my car is nowhere near as expensive as most here, but I have a 10th generation Honda Civic sport that I cosmetically modified and noticed two new dents on it. One is the outline of the shoe print. I live in a place where not many people have such a car and I travel to places where I stick out like a thumb.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this here? It sucks to know that people are intentionally damaging my car (and no, I don’t act like a bastard)
